Introduction to Business (BUS 125):
  A survey course that introduces the student to the business enterprise (profit and not-for-profit) the role of the business enterprise in society, and the functional areas of business, including accounting, finance, marketing, and management.
   
Systems Analysis and Design (BUS 327):
  Concepts and methods of systems analysis and design; includes a project involving design of a computer based information system.  Emphasis on strategies and techniques of structured analysis and structured design for producing logical methodologies for dealing with complexity in development of information systems.
   
  Business Ethics (BUS 307):
  Study of the general principles and standards of ethics and Judeo-Christian values applied to business and professional codes and practices.
   
  Microsoft 2003: Excel, PowerPoint and Access BUS (106/107/108):
  Introduction to the development, use, and application of an electronic spreadsheet, presentations and databases in business analysis and decision making.
   
  Integrated Information Systems (BUS 326):
  Study of conceptual foundations, structures and development of effective data-based management systems, including analysis of appropriate hardware, software, and administrative controls.
   
  Decision Support Systems (BUS 328):
  This course provides an examination of the role of technology and information systems in the decision making process.  The main focus of the course is decision support systems and the techniques used, such as simulation, artificial intelligence, expert systems, data warehousing, data mining, and what-if analysis.
   
  Team Management and Leadership Seminar (BUS 418):
  Senior seminar designed to examine and evaluate existing theories of leadership and of team processes and to survey new developments in the field. The course utilizes a workshop setting to develop each student's leadership and team management skills and abilities.
   
  Computer Networking & Data Communication (BUS 427):
  Overview and presentation of current computer networks and telecommunication services with emphasis on design and implementation of LANs, inter- and intra-networks and routing, managing networks with client-server applications.
   
  Project Management (MBA 641):
  This course provides an introduction to essentials of project management. It will review the various stages of project management from the concept stage through implementation. The emphasis will be on modern techniques for planning, identifying, scheduling, reporting, controlling, and managing projects. The students will examine various team roles and responsibilities, budgeting, Scheduling techniques, resource allocation, and project development. With the knowledge developed within this course, the students will be able to determine the critical success factors of a well-executed project.
   
  Information Systems (MBA 642):
 

This course focuses on the critical issues of Information Systems and its applications within the business environment.
Students are exposed to important technical topics related to computer hardware and software through various business case studies. Students develop an understanding of how Information Systems are the primary enabler for improved business processes. Students will evaluate the role of Information technology in various functions of an organization.

Traveled overseas regularly to facilitate face-to-face meetings and discussions with offshore vendors.

A $500 million information and computer decision support company servicing the consumer packaged goods industry.
 
Systems Director (1997 - 1999)
  Managed multiple projects ranging from two to eight man-years in effort.  Developed procedures and Interface Control Documentation to establish an offshore development venture between Chicago and Bangalore, India, involving the full project life cycle management for new development, maintenance, and production support incident projects.
   
Associate Director (1994 - 1997)
  Designed and managed the development of the Corporate Travel Department’s Ticket Management System (COBOL, CICS, and MVS), enabling the Corporate Travel Department to reconcile all issued tickets to reduce travel costs incurred due to lost commissions, lost credits, and unused tickets, savings over $250,000 in the first year.  Designed, developed and implemented an Activity-Based Cost Accounting System that integrated all corporate business systems using both 4th generation (PC and MDB Express) and 3rd generation (COBOL and CICS) software.
